Not only that, in the quota era with the international market integration process accelerating, just rely on stable, first-class product quality is not enough to make the enterprise into the broader international market, in order to line with the international market as soon as possible, the enterprise must achieve (1) the quality of the products to the new stage, it includes the technical quality of the product itself, but also realize clean production and environmental protection, meet the needs of the consumers of green ecological textiles at home and abroad. (2) in order to improve the innovation ability of enterprises, product quality also needs innovation; (3) in order to improve the rapid response ability, enterprises need to improve the marketing ability of products, and the decision-making ability and quality innovation ability of enterprises need to be fast. This requires the textile printing industry to pay attention to the waste water and exhaust gas during production and processing as well as the toxicological behavior of processed printed textiles on human body.

 

At present, the printing textiles and its production method of environmental and ecological load has six factors as the raw material consumption, energy consumption, land use, emission in the air and water and soil, the use of dangerous substances, the possible danger (such as transport and use, etc.) with the above six factors on textile printing methods for environmental and ecological load analysis, set a high environmental and ecological load value is 1, all the printing method of environmental and ecological load value between 0 ~ 1, a large number of experimental study and production practice has proved, The energy consumption, raw material consumption and land requirements of paint printing are lower than those of reactive dye printing which USES more. This is due to the elimination of post washing process, the reduction of sources of environmental and ecological load, and the reduction of waste water and the risk of accidents. Obviously, due to paint printing has the following four outstanding features:

 

(1) low production cost and simple production process;

 

(2) strong applicability, not only can get the required printing effect, but also almost no doubt applicable to all fiber types;

 

(3) in a wide range including color, feel and fastness and almost no longer different from the reactive dye printing level;

 

(4) low environmental and ecological load, energy saving and relatively safe.

 

Therefore, the application is expanding, coupled with the continuous improvement of its ecological protection performance, today has reached a very high technical level and obtained the leading position in printing textiles. According to statistics, in the world's printed fabrics, paint printing exceeds 55% (reactive dye printing accounts for 24%, VAT printing accounts for less than 5%, etc.), among which, the United States accounts for 80%, India 60% and China about 20%. Although paint printing has many advantages in ecological protection, there are also a series of important problems worthy of attention.

 

First, the ecological problems in the waste water generated in the production process

 

Coating printing process is to use appropriate organic materials after treatment on the fiber to form a resin film, the pigment fixed on the fiber. The appropriate organic substances include pigment printing pastes, thickeners, adhesives and other additives such as softeners, defoaming agents, preservatives, fixatives, urea, ethylene glycol, etc. These organic substances will enter the wastewater to varying degrees during the printing process. Therefore, the important substances contained in the wastewater can be summarized as follows according to their sources:

 

1. Mineral oil

 

Source: gasoline, paste synthesis thickener, softener, defoaming agent.

 

2. Heavy metals

 

Source: dye pigment, metal pigment, white pigment.

 

Alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ether

 

Source: emulsifier, adhesive, softener.

 

4. Adsorbable organic halide

 

Source of production: dye pigments.

 

Has been mentioned above and, relative to use dyes for fabric printing, pigment printing to cancel the printing after washing process, this is one of the main advantages of ecological protection, so that in the process of coating printing production in addition to printing machine washing water, model and color paste barrels of water consumption, will not happen and by machine wash water WanShanHua, also can significantly save water. As for the surplus printing lake in developed countries is not allowed and should not be discharged into the waste water, so the amount of waste water produced in the process of coating printing is generally small. Problems with heavy metals (except bronze) and adsorbable organic halides have been addressed to a considerable extent. The mineral oil in the waste water is mainly due to the use of paste synthetic thickener. As we all know, early use of water-soluble natural glue thickener, because the amount is too high, make feel thick and hard, so use value is not. Since the development of emulsification thickening paste, especially oil-water type emulsification thickening paste, coating printing has practical significance, but emulsification thickening paste needs to use a lot of gasoline (fire oil), the content is generally up to 70%, not only pollution of the environment, in the production and use of inflammable and explosive risk; Later, a synthetic thickener was developed to replace emulsifying thickening paste, so as to reduce the use or use of gasoline in printing paste, although the use of emulsifying thickening paste with liquid droplets (deformable oil droplets) is relatively small and variable properties, printed finished pattern outline high definition, bright color, but foreign companies are no longer used. At present, in order to improve the printing performance of paste synthetic thickener, generally contain mineral oil added as a carrier, such as solvent oil and other hydrocarbons, which will enter the waste water. In view of this problem, many foreign companies have developed some paste synthetic thickener with low mineral oil content in recent years. Such as BASF company Lutexal HIT, ciba Alcoprint inhibits PTP, etc., the production of synthetic thickener PAS - 820, the thickening agent 808 all contain solvents, such as in recent years also developed a low mineral content of synthetic thickener KG - 201, with the printed fabric after the performance they still exist some problems, such as the feel is a bit poor, other similar synthetic thickener, some problems such as wet rubbing fastness is unqualified. Moreover, the synthetic thickener has the problem of reducing the poor dielectric property.
